OLD BUSINESS: We are continuing to work with the Road Captains, several rides are planned.  Please check our Calendar and emails for updates.

Kylene gave us more information about the Kingswood Benefit Ride, Saturday, May 15.  Registration will be at Colbochs starting at 10am, with KSU at 11am. for a scenic ride to KIngswood where there will be food available to purchase, a Car Show, Raffles, bouncy house for the kids.  Greg Fee, at Classic Leathers, is selling tickets to raffle off a pair of Boots with all proceeds going to Kingswood.  Come join in the fun.

SWAP MEET MAY 1,  Volunteers are needed , please consider coming to Colbochs and help your Chapter out.  We will be cooking and selling hot dogs & hamburgers, we will have a table set up to sell all your excess Harley Davidson clothes, parts, etc. ( so clean out your closets & garages) with 10% of the proceeds going to your Chapter.  Come on down and spend some time !!!

NEW BUSINESS:  Challenge Ride: You will have 1 month to ride at your leisure to 4 locations-

1) Covered Bridge, 2) Waterfall, 3) Scenic Overlook, 4) Harley Davidson Dealer NOT COLBOCHS.  At each location you need either  A) a picture of your bike at the location or B) a picture of your bike at the sign identifying the location. Show us your pictures at the May 1 meeting-if you have completed the challenge you will receive a ticket to be entered into a drawing for a Gift Certificate .Let's have some fun !!!

SAFETY: It's that time of year to really start riding.  If you haven't already done so, a Riding Course is very helpful to improve your riding skills. Be aware of the weather, you may start out fine but as you go higher into the hills it may get colder.  Watch out for washouts, tree limbs, debris and grass clippings.  MSF website  is also good to pick up some tips on riding skills.  And remember to do a safety check on your motorcycle before each ride. Thank you Brad

ROAD CAPTAINS: Michael P.shared some positive thoughts about group riding.  There will be a sign up sheet for each ride; whoever leads a ride should provide either a map or the routes  for the ride, in case anyone is separated from the group, you will know our destination; don't run red lights; Alcohol is not permitted on any Chapter rides;  you don't have to be a road captain to lead a ride-feel free to lead us to your favorite destination.
